Executive – Last-Mile Transportation

About the role

We are looking for an energetic, detail‑oriented Executive – Last‑Mile Transportation to drive day‑to‑day B2C delivery execution, optimise fleet operations and shape an efficient last‑mile network for Singapore’s largest retailer. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will orchestrate daily dispatch, coordinate internal drivers and outsourced transport partners, and uphold service delivery standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily B2C deliveries, ensuring on‑time delivery (OTD) SLAs and operational targets are met.
• Supervise internal drivers and manage outsourced transporter partners, monitoring contractual compliance, performance and route adherence.
• Monitor cold‑chain integrity and reduce Missing, Wrong, Damaged and Additional (MWDA) deliveries.
• Utilise the Transportation Management System (TMS) and geolocation data for route planning, trip tracking and delivery density improvement.
• Assist in cost and budget control, including driver overtime, fuel, vehicle upkeep and damage expenses.
• Observe ground workflows, identify dispatch bottlenecks and propose process enhancements to boost fleet productivity.
• Guide and motivate a team of Transport Supervisors and frontline delivery personnel, handling attendance, leave, overtime verification and staff queries.
• Prepare and submit operational reports, vendor invoices, delivery reconciliations and billing documents.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in B2C last‑mile logistics, fleet coordination or express courier operations.
• Understanding of cold‑chain and multi‑temperature grocery delivery requirements.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems, routing tools and geolocation data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to control operating costs and support transport P&L.
• Strong supervisory, communication and problem‑solving skills in a high‑volume environment.
