Executive Quantity Surveyor

Key responsibilities

• Quantity take‑off and cost estimation.
• Material ordering and budget tracking for main materials (e.g., rebars, tiles).
• Measurement, payment response and variation orders for subcontractors.
• Preparing tender submissions within specific deadlines.
• Sourcing, negotiating and awarding contracts to vendors.
• Tendering and contract document administration, preparing bills of quantities, cost estimation, control and budgeting.
• Monitoring actual construction costs versus contract work quality.
• Ensuring costs are managed within budget throughout the project.
• Advising the project team on contractual rights and arbitration procedures when disputes arise.
• Assessing costs and schedules of all project activities meticulously.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant construction industry experience.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of construction materials and procurement methods.
• Familiarity with Singapore contract law and regulations (advantage).
