About the role

This billing and collection position manages customer accounts so that bills are raised accurately and on time. It involves close cooperation with colleagues to record customer receipts, and collaboration with other business units to handle transfers and refunds once an account is finalised.

Key responsibilities

Manage customer accounts and raise accurate, timely bills
Record customer receipts together with other team members
Handle billing and receipting enquiries, including following up with customers on their GIRO arrangements
Work with other business units to arrange transfers and refunds after the customer's account is finalised
Maintain proper accounting records and carry out month-end closing activities
Take part in projects and initiatives focused on work process improvements

Required profile

Background in Accounting or Business Administration
At least 2 years of relevant experience in finance operations
Resourceful and meticulous, able to work independently
Good communication skills and a team player
