Executive / Senior Executive (CET) - School of Engineering

About the role

Nanyang Polytechnic is hiring an Executive or Senior Executive for its Continuing Education & Training (CET) unit within the School of Engineering. The role leads and supports the delivery of CET programmes, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with Course Leads to contextualise training materials according to course objectives and learner profiles, aligned with CET delivery requirements.
• Plan and deliver CET programmes end-to-end with minimal supervision, coordinating with trainers, managing logistics and ensuring compliance with funding and policy requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on assigned programmes, support proposal preparation, collect feedback and follow up to maintain service quality.
• Support CET outreach through marketing contributions, event preparation and learner engagement initiatives under the guidance of the CET leadership team.
• Act as a resource person for colleagues on the Skills Training and Enhancement Portal (STEP).
• Oversee and optimise the use of CET training facilities and digital resources, recommending improvements based on usage trends and learner feedback.
• Contribute to department-wide initiatives and cross-functional taskforces, including process reviews and data reporting.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications in engineering and/or training, with a preference for candidates with experience in engineering and/or training.
• Resourcefulness, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong customer service mindset.
• Good administrative and organisational ability, analytical with attention to detail, and comfort with ambiguous situations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong command of Excel.
