Executive, Volunteer Management (6 Months Contract)

About the role

NUHS Population Health & Community Care (PHCC) is looking for a proactive and organised Executive / Senior Executive to join its Volunteer Management team. The role supports volunteer recruitment, engagement, training and the Health Peers programme, working closely with internal stakeholders, volunteers and community partners to strengthen volunteer development and improve community health outcomes. It is a 6-month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Staff volunteer recruitment: refresh and update volunteer marketing materials, identify and coordinate recruitment event booths, and run focus groups and engagement sessions with volunteer leaders to gather feedback on volunteer leadership initiatives.
• Volunteer orientation and training: review and update e-learning and training materials, and support in-person orientation sessions.
• Volunteer retention and engagement: plan and organise volunteer networking dinners and support the annual Volunteer Appreciation Event.
• Health Peers programme: support onboarding and deployment of newly trained Health Peers, coordinate volunteer schedules and resident engagement sessions, and handle consent-taking and administrative support for participants.

Required profile

• Degree in any discipline.
• Prior experience in volunteer management, community engagement, events management, training coordination or healthcare-related programmes is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
