Experienced Transfer Pricing Associate / Senior Associate

About the role

PwC's Tax Services is one of the largest tax practices in Singapore, advising clients on tax strategy, planning and compliance. This role sits within the Tax Global Structuring practice, which covers complex cross-border and transactional tax matters, including transfer pricing. You will join a team of specialists in mergers and acquisitions, transfer pricing and tax-efficient international structuring, working on fast-paced, high-pressure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support managers and senior managers on transfer pricing matters, including understanding the client business through functional analysis interviews.
• Carry out benchmarking studies and analyse client issues for transfer pricing documentation.
• Recommend planning opportunities to clients and review inter-company agreements and internal documents for compliance and risk mitigation.
• Help clients implement transfer pricing arrangements, working with their tax, finance or project teams.
• Coordinate with regional and global PwC firms on client issues.
• Manage projects related to transfer pricing audits and support senior team members on MAP or APA cases.
• Work on cross-border business restructuring projects with other specialist teams.
• Senior associates guide and coach junior team members in preparing deliverables.

Required profile

• Degree in any discipline and/or postgraduate or professional qualification in accounting, tax, business, economics or law (or 1-2 years of relevant experience for an Associate).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience for Senior Associates.
• An SCTP accreditation is an added advantage.
• A good academic record, involvement in co-curricular activities, and strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment; visa sponsorship available.
