Facilities Management Electrical Engineer

About the role

The Facilities Management (FM) Associate – Electrical Engineer will oversee the operation, maintenance and reliability of the campus electrical infrastructure. Working closely with the FM team, you will ensure safe, efficient power delivery for all building occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Manage LV/HV distribution, transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS, lighting and emergency power systems.
• Plan, coordinate and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Conduct inspections, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore electrical regulations, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and company policies.
• Supervise contractors and service providers, guaranteeing safe and timely completion of works.
• Support asset lifecycle management, including condition assessments and equipment upgrades.
• Monitor system performance and drive energy‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within facilities management, commercial, healthcare, education or campus environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, building services and emergency power systems.
• Familiarity with Singapore electrical codes and statutory compliance.
• Proven experience managing maintenance contractors.
