Facilities Management Manager

About the role

The Facilities Management Manager will support the Project Manager in daily operations, ensuring that building and structural inspections, maintenance, and minor construction works are carried out in compliance with BCA requirements and company safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct building and structural inspections according to BCA periodic inspection guidelines.
• Prepare inspection reports, technical reports, and photographic documentation.
• Assist in drafting method statements, work procedures, and risk assessments.
• Supervise and coordinate site activities, including repairs, rectifications, and minor construction works.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain smooth progress.
• Monitor work quality, progress, and compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Attend site inspections, meetings, and progress reviews.
• Prepare progress reports, material submissions, and site records.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Building Services or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Good problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Strong coordination and team‑building skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD.
