Finance Analyst – FP&A

About the role

The FP&A Analyst will support the finance planning & analysis function by delivering financial analysis, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business insights to aid senior management decisions. Working closely with finance, sales and operations, you will analyse performance, spot trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and working capital.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse actual results versus budget, forecast and prior year and prepare performance dashboards and management reports.
• Support the annual budgeting process, consolidate submissions and maintain rolling forecasts.
• Develop and maintain financial models, perform sensitivity and scenario analysis, and contribute to finance transformation projects.
• Extract and validate financial and operational data from ERP systems, ensuring accuracy for reporting and dashboards.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities and communicate insights to the Controller and senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in FP&A, management reporting, commercial finance or financial analysis, preferably in a sales, distribution or multinational environment.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA) is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills – PivotTables, Power Query and financial modelling.
• Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ability to extract and analyse large datasets from ERP systems.
