Finance Associate – InterFirm

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a motivated Finance Associate to join its InterFirm team. You will support a wide range of finance activities, from day‑to‑day accounting to larger transformation projects, helping clients achieve purpose‑led growth.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations, including invoice coding, matching, billing, GL clearing, and payment status monitoring.
• Liaise with the Global Finance Services (GFS) shared service team and business units to resolve invoice queries, rejected or missing items, and ServiceNow requests.
• Prepare month‑end closing reports, schedules, payment proposals, contra schedules, and reconciliations.
• Post journal entries for reclassifications, accruals, amortisation, and reversals.
• Manage GST and Withholding Tax accounting, reporting, and filing.
• Participate in finance transformation initiatives and drive continuous process improvements.
• Undertake ad‑hoc projects as assigned.
