Finance Compensation Operations and Accounting (1 Year Contract)

About the role

Prudential is hiring for a 1-year contract covering the full spectrum of daily processing within Finance Operations. The role covers the General Ledger, commission and expense processing, its related reconciliation, check and balance, provision and accrual accounting, user acceptance testing (UAT) and ongoing process improvement. It also provides general finance support for various business propositions and Financial Advisers, with accurate, efficient and timely processing in line with policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Validate financing schemes, recruitment incentives and distribution-related challenges against business rules
• Identify data discrepancies and escalate them where necessary
• Support monthly closing by reviewing outputs for completeness and accuracy before downstream processing
• Maintain distribution reports (financing schemes, recruitment incentives, campaigns and challenges) and keep stakeholders updated
• Manage end-to-end operational processes and assist in rolling out new initiatives across distribution channels
• Contribute to ad hoc tasks and projects

Required profile

• Good business sense, balancing business objectives, process efficiency and risk mitigation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Strong prioritisation, analytical, data validation and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous, detail-oriented and a team player
• Preferably at least 1 year of experience in the same industry on data validation
