Finance Consultant, R2R (Record to Report) - 1 Year Contract

About the role

PwC is hiring an R2R (record to report / general ledger) Consultant on a 1-year contract. The role ensures timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to management, covering accounting processes, inter-company activities and compliance with statutory and internal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing, management and financial reporting
• Handle accounting tasks such as receipts and payments interface reconciliation, General Ledger (GL) and other key reconciliations
• Coordinate with internal parties and the firm's network to support intercompany activities
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents and local government authorities as required
• Support compliance with finance filing, GST tax filing, audit, procedure and form requirements
• Assist in redesigning current processes to improve productivity and efficiency
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of month-end closing and financial statement preparation
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a good sense of logic and analytical thinking
• Ability to liaise with external auditors, tax agents and government authorities
• Ability to assist in new process and system implementations
• Good command of written and spoken English
