Finance Controller – Shipping (Up to 13k)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Finance Controller to join an international logistics and supply‑chain organisation. The role offers high impact, allowing you to shape the financial direction of a fast‑growing division and work closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the division’s leadership team to translate strategy into financial plans and performance metrics.
• Provide clear, actionable insights on financial performance and challenge key commercial decisions.
• Maintain strong stewardship over liquidity, controls, governance and risk.
• Drive financial integration, process improvement and transformation initiatives.
• Lead the divisional finance team and coordinate with Group Consolidation, Credit Control, Global Shared Services and Internal Control.

Required profile

• Recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) with at least 10 years post‑qualification experience.
• Senior finance leadership experience, preferably in controllership or business partnering within a complex, multi‑entity environment.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate as a true business partner.

Required skills

• Advanced financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, governance and risk management.
• Experience driving finance transformation and integration projects.
