Finance Director – Procurement & Supply Chain

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Director to act as the strategic finance partner for a global procurement and supply chain organization. Reporting to the VP Finance, you will design and continuously improve the financial framework that supports best‑in‑class sourcing, supplier management, and margin protection.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance partnership for global procurement and supply chain, influencing category strategies and sourcing decisions.
• Develop and maintain total cost of ownership (TCO) and "should‑cost" models to challenge supplier pricing and improve negotiation leverage.
• Create and govern savings methodologies, ensuring disciplined tracking, validation, and auditable reporting of hard and soft savings.
• Support planning, forecasting, and performance management; build executive dashboards that highlight cost drivers, savings progress, and margin risks.
• Quantify supply chain risks in financial terms and work with operations to protect margin under volatility.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering analytical rigor and stakeholder collaboration.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance leadership within procurement or supply chain environments.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross‑functional initiatives.
• Track record of building robust financial controls and governance structures.
