Finance Intern, CNBC Asia Pacific (Jan-Jun 2027)

About the role

Versant, which owns CNBC, is recruiting a Finance Intern for its CNBC Asia Pacific Finance team. The intern supports the team on Financial Planning & Analysis and Controllership work, collaborating with colleagues across functions and countries on finance deliverables. The internship runs from January to June 2027 and is open to university undergraduates.

Key responsibilities

• Support the month-end close: update the review file each month and the schedule of monthly FX rates
• Review key cost movements, identify variances and write business commentary
• Post the month-end review and consolidate OPEX costs
• Lead a project to speed up reporting turnaround for Travel and Entertainment costs, and produce monthly T&E reporting packs for News, Tech Ops and leadership
• Provide analytical support for commercial proposals and reviews
• Support reviews with billing, collection and vendor teams, tracking key metrics and following up on issues
• Support ad hoc projects as assigned

Required profile

• University undergraduate majoring in Accounting or Finance
• Legal right to work in Singapore; only eligible candidates will be considered
• Available for a full-time internship from January to June 2027
• Attention to detail, ability to prioritize under tight deadlines, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and take initiative

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
