Finance Intern

About the role

Haleon, a consumer health company, is recruiting one Finance Intern to support its Commercial Finance Manager (MSB). The intern helps with pricing administration, database management, trade spend monitoring and ad-hoc business projects. The preferred period is January to June/July 2027, and the preferred candidate is an undergraduate with an accounting or finance background.

Key responsibilities

• Pricing: check pricing structures before circulation, maintain and file pricing records, update ZPRO/ZMIN/ZITP, NSP/TP and the pricing database, investigate pricing issues in CERPS/ZP and follow up on pricing requests
• Cognos: administer and understand the Cognos system, prepare daily sales reports, gather ad-hoc data requests and raise and follow up on remedy tickets until closed
• Trade Spend Management: understand trade spend invested in sales, use the TSM viewer to retrieve reports and documents, and assist the Sales Finance Partner on TIMF work
• Reporting: assist in preparing monthly management reports and understand the business
• Finance and admin support: follow up on tickets and incidents, compliance checklists, and issues with Sales and Marketing admins such as payments, purchase orders and sample requests
• Ad-hoc projects: support ROI assessments, slow and obsolete stock reviews, and other initiatives that improve business performance

Required profile

• Accounting and/or finance education
• Ability to commit to a 6-month internship
• Proactive attitude to process improvement and awareness of diverse teams
• Keen interest in the consumer healthcare industry and a passion for learning

Required skills

• Proficiency with IT and software, ideally document management and database systems
• Basic PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Strong written and oral communication
