Finance Manager - Singapore

About the role

EduCLaaS is looking for a resilient, self-driven Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the Group's legal entities in Singapore and overseas. Working closely with the CFO, Financial Controller, Global Revenue Controller, Global Cost Controller and People Operations, the role ensures accurate financial records, timely closing, reliable reporting and compliance with Group requirements. Strong accounting fundamentals and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are valued; expertise in every technical area is not required from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, general ledger activities, reconciliations and month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare entity-level financial statements and supporting schedules for Group reporting and consolidation
• Reconcile revenue, cost and intercompany transactions, investigate discrepancies and resolve outstanding balances
• Support local and overseas tax and statutory compliance, including corporate income tax, GST/VAT and withholding tax
• Support AP/AR, payment processing, aged balance monitoring and payroll-related finance activities
• Prepare audit schedules and support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Maintain financial controls and documentation and contribute to process improvements and reporting automation

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline
• Approximately 6 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably with audit experience
• Solid accounting fundamentals: general ledger, financial statements, reconciliations and month-end closing
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
• Advantageous but trainable: local and overseas tax compliance, multi-entity accounting and group consolidation, statutory audits, payroll finance and listed-company reporting

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP/accounting systems (advantageous)
• Power BI, Power Automate or other reporting and automation tools (advantageous)
