Finance Officer (6‑month contract) – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Finance Officer to join our team on a six‑month contract in Singapore. The role focuses on managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate invoice recording, and supporting month‑end and year‑end activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record AP invoices promptly using Coupa and SAP.
• Reconcile monthly supplier statements and maintain supplier records.
• Ensure timely closing of the Accounts Payable ledger.
• Follow up on certificates of residence for withholding tax compliance.
• Assist with year‑end and internal audit tasks.
• Handle queries related to Coupa PO/GRN/Invoices and approval chains.
• Upload weekly and monthly exchange rates to SAP and Coupa, and post GRN exchange rates.
• Review and approve supplier onboarding and banking forms.
• Create and update vendor/bank details in SAP for non‑Compass vendors.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase AP efficiency.
• Perform entitlement verification, reconciliation, and other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
