Finance Operations Manager

About the role

AKA is seeking a Finance Operations Manager to support the advertising and PR unit. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will ensure accurate, compliant and efficient financial processes while partnering with business leads on profitability analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations including invoicing, vendor purchase orders and work‑in‑progress reconciliations using the job management system.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Assistant Finance Manager on regular revenue reviews and provide financial and commercial analysis for client accounts.
• Ensure compliance with client revenue recognition policies and internal accounting standards.
• Assist in revenue budgeting, reporting procedures and guarantee reliable, stable numbers.
• Work with internal and external auditors to maintain policy compliance.
• Prepare and submit accurate monthly, quarterly and annual management reports on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field; Chartered Accountant qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience, ideally within the advertising/PR industry.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage all organisational levels.
• Ability to maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Experience using Hyperion‑HFM for reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• PowerPoint for presenting financial analysis.
