About the role

PwC's Internal Services unit supports all business lines across administration, business development, finance, human resources, learning and development, legal, marketing and communications and technology. Within its Finance Department, the Record-to-Report (R2R) team is looking for a finance intern from a polytechnic. The internship sits in the IFS - Finance line of service.

Key responsibilities

Reconcile receipts and payments, make adjustments and enter data, including bank reconciliations
Handle inter-company transactions, data entry and reconciliation
Enter giro payments for salary, CPF, FWL, iExpense and bank charges
Prepare monthly journals covering accruals, prepayments and rental recharge, and carry out balance sheet analysis and P&L extractions

Required profile

Accountancy or finance student from a polytechnic
Keen to develop professionally, highly motivated, enthusiastic, confident and creative
Good co-curricular record
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Service-oriented, committed to teamwork and excellence
