Financial Accounting & Planning Assistant Manager (Govt/Medical)

About the role

This position supports the financial planning and accounting functions for a multi‑disciplinary campus serving government and medical sectors. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting, reporting and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the campus budget roll‑up process.
• Provide data‑analytics support for periodic financial budgeting, reporting, workload and patient‑mix analysis, and variance tracking.
• Evaluate OPEX spending and capital investment requests, reviewing business cases for risks and opportunities.
• Review internal processes, systems, policies and procedures and recommend improvements to minimise business risk.
• Collaborate across departments to drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align financial activities with the institution’s strategic objectives.
• Offer financial planning support and advice to cost centres and departments.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the healthcare sector.
