Financial Analyst – APAC FMCG

About the role

The client is a globally recognised FMCG leader seeking a Financial Analyst to support its regional finance and controlling function across APAC. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Controlling, you will be involved in financial planning, reporting and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly forecasting and financial planning, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Prepare management reports, business commentaries and variance analysis.
• Analyse SKU profitability and maintain profitability reporting for commercial decisions.
• Submit financial data into internal planning systems and prepare reporting packages for management meetings.
• Maintain marketing spend trackers, vendor master data, pricing information and other finance records in SAP.
• Assist with external audits, statutory compliance and coordination with auditors and tax advisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in finance, FP&A, audit or controlling.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Meticulous, organised and detail‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced multinational environment.
