Financial Service Assurance AM&I (Asset Management) Manager

About the role

PwC's Financial Services Assurance team is looking for a manager to join its Asset Management line of service. The role supports a broad range of statutory audit assignments for Asset Management clients, drawing on the team's specialist knowledge of the sector. The position is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage projects to meet objectives and budget
• Demonstrate knowledge of risk management and deliver high-quality work
• Direct and coach junior team members
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, translating their expectations into quality, balanced outputs
• Bring relevant firm expertise to client discussions and convert service opportunities into proposals

Required profile

• Relevant accounting qualifications
• 6-8 years of demonstrable experience in a similar role at a Big 4 accounting firm
• Experience in statutory and regulatory audits of Asset Management clients
• Understanding of commercial issues facing businesses in this sector
• Ability to manage clients day to day and build lasting client relationships

Required skills

• Sound understanding of IFRS/SFRS and SAS/ISA; US GAAP knowledge is useful
• Project management and team working skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
