Financial Services Tax Manager / Senior Manager

About the role

PwC Singapore is expanding its Financial Services Tax (FS Tax) practice and is looking for experienced Managers and Senior Managers to advise leading financial institutions, banks, fund managers, insurers, REITs, family offices and investment funds on complex, cross-border tax matters. The role involves leading compliance and advisory engagements, building client relationships and contributing to business development.

Key responsibilities

• Advise leading financial institutions on a wide range of tax matters
• Lead tax compliance and advisory engagements across a portfolio of clients, ensuring quality and timely delivery
• Build trusted client relationships and provide commercially practical solutions to complex tax issues
• Collaborate with specialists across PwC's global network on regional and international projects
• Contribute to business development, proposals and thought leadership
• Coach and mentor junior team members
• Develop innovative tax products and solutions
• Keep up with tax, regulatory and industry developments and share practical insights with clients

Required profile

• Degree in any discipline and/or a relevant postgraduate or professional qualification in Accounting, Tax, Business, Economics, Law or a related field
• Manager: approximately 5 to 7 years of relevant tax experience; Senior Manager: approximately 8+ years
• Experience in Singapore corporate tax compliance and/or advisory within the financial services sector
• SCTP accreditation is advantageous; candidates with a strong tax foundation in other common law jurisdictions are also considered
