Food Packer – Tuas (Permanent Role)

About the role

The Food Packer position on Jurong Island, Tuas involves converting bulk raw materials into smaller, ready‑to‑ship packs while strictly adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. The role is full‑time, requires physical strength for handling heavy loads, and offers a stable, permanent employment opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Pack raw materials from bulk containers into smaller packs according to specified weights and packaging standards.
• Apply food safety and hygiene practices consistently during all packing activities.
• Safely handle and transport heavy materials and packed goods to prevent injury and product damage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area to support operational efficiency.
• Inspect packaging materials and finished packs for quality and accuracy before dispatch.
• Report product quality, equipment, or safety issues promptly to supervisors.
• Assist with other warehouse or production tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Willingness and ability to handle and carry heavy loads safely.
• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow instructions carefully.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work well in a team.
