Forensics & Intelligence Data Analyst – Cyber & Scam COE

About the role

Mastercard’s Financial Crime Solutions team is establishing a new Centre of Excellence in Asia‑Pacific to lead the Cyber & Scam vertical. The Forensics and Intelligence Data Analyst will support this hub by turning payment data into actionable insights that help prevent fraud, scams and money‑laundering across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement AP COE and Cyber & Scam strategies in alignment with global and regional leads.
• Analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, new use cases and emerging threats for government, banks and e‑commerce customers.
• Partner with industry stakeholders to evaluate data usage, uncover gaps and recommend Mastercard solutions.
• Monitor product performance, build reporting templates and tools, and forecast budgets.
• Draft white papers, develop narratives and manage communications with internal and external partners.
• Track market trends, regulatory changes and competitive dynamics to inform product road‑maps.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in financial‑crime or cyber‑security data analysis.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with global, regional and external partners.
• Excellent written communication for reporting, white‑paper creation and stakeholder updates.
• Understanding of payment ecosystems and regulatory environments in APAC.
