Research Fellow – 3D Reconstruction & Digital Human Modeling

About the role

NTU’s College of Computing and Data Science is seeking a Research Fellow to lead independent and collaborative projects in 3D reconstruction, digital human modelling and video synthesis. The role supports the college’s mission to advance AI and data‑driven technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent and joint research on 3D reconstruction, 3D digital human modelling and video synthesis/editing.
• Publish findings in top‑tier journals and conferences.
• Mentor and supervise junior researchers and interns.
• Collaborate with industrial and academic partners.
• Report project progress and perform related duties as required.

Required profile

• PhD (or equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to formulate hypotheses, design experiments and deliver innovative research outcomes.

Required skills

• Expertise in 3D reconstruction techniques.
• Experience with digital human modelling.
• Knowledge of video generation and synthesis methods.
