FRC Manager – Fault Reporting Centre Operations

About the role

The Fault Reporting Centre (FRC) Manager will lead the 24/7 operations of four NTU Fault Reporting Centres, ensuring seamless service delivery for complex laboratory and cleanroom environments. This role combines technical oversight, customer handling, and team leadership to maintain high‑availability facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee continuous operations of all four NTU Fault Reporting Centres.
• Manage fault escalation, issue resolution, and operational coordination for ACMV and other critical systems.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and smooth workflow across the centres.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, coordinating with site teams and relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in system commissioning, defect identification, and troubleshooting activities such as power tripping.
• Plan and deploy manpower support for NTU events and special arrangements.
• Supervise engineering staff and specialist subcontractors, allocating tasks proactively and monitoring performance.
• Conduct routine site inspections to verify work aligns with specifications and client expectations.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of ACMV (air‑conditioning, mechanical, ventilation) systems.
• Effective customer handling and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex facilities and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Leadership experience supervising engineering teams and subcontractors.
