Freelance Business Development Executive – Uncapped Commission

About the role

We are seeking a self‑driven Freelance Business Development Executive to expand our recruitment and HR consultancy services across Singapore. The position is focused on acquiring new corporate clients, while our internal Account Servicing and Recruitment teams manage the ongoing delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in recruitment, staffing and HR solutions.
• Research, prospect and approach potential corporate clients through cold outreach, networking and referrals.
• Build relationships with HR professionals, hiring managers and key decision‑makers.
• Present Ascension Advisory’s services, negotiate commercial terms and convert prospects into client accounts.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects and ensure smooth handover to internal teams.

Required profile

• Prior experience in business development, B2B sales, recruitment or HR consultancy is an advantage.
• Strong communication, networking, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, disciplined and able to work independently under a commission‑only structure.
• Existing corporate networks or HR contacts are a plus.
