Full Charge Accountant (US & Singapore)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage the financial workflows for Viki Inc (USA) and Viki Pte Ltd (Singapore). The role will support month‑end and quarter‑end closing, handle accruals, vendor invoices and provide analysis of content‑related spending.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile GL accounts and maintain organized e‑files for both entities.
• Execute full‑charge accounting duties, including payroll and cost analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Manage month‑end cut‑off, expense capture and creation of Excel reports for internal stakeholders.
• Prepare over/under accrual reports, reconcile specific GL accounts (2290, 2291) with QuickBooks.
• Partner with the Revenue team to produce revenue‑share analysis and ensure accurate invoice formatting.
• Track pending liabilities using the “Invoice Waiting” tracker and follow up on missing or partial invoices.
• Respond to ad‑hoc queries and become a subject‑matter expert for assigned accounting areas.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude.
• Experience with multi‑entity accounting and month‑end/quarter‑end closing.
• Ability to analyse financial data and identify spending patterns.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
