Full Stack Developer - Java, Angular/React

About the role

Synechron is looking for a Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and SPA technologies. The role involves working with business analysts, architects and development teams to deliver technical solutions, and covers unit testing, defect resolution, production support and performance tuning.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and SPA technologies.
• Develop and maintain REST-based services and web applications.
• Participate in application design, estimation and technical reviews.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements and development best practices.
• Perform unit testing, defect resolution and production support.
• Contribute to performance tuning, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a finance institution.
• Strong verbal and written communication, and ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in design discussions, code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Required skills

• Core Java, including Collections, I/O and multithreading, and Java design patterns.
• Spring Framework (MVC, JPA), Hibernate and Spring Boot.
• Security: ADFS, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0 and Spring Security.
• Angular and/or React, with strong TypeScript and JavaScript.
• RDBMS and SQL, and messaging basics such as JMS, IBM MQ, WebSphere or RabbitMQ.
• Exposure to Global Markets and Back Office applications is preferable.
