Full Stack Software Engineer (Content Processing)

About the role

CSIT is building next‑generation analytical platforms to accelerate threat detection for Singapore’s national security. As a Full Stack Software Engineer you will create high‑performance web applications, integrate AI‑driven features, and ensure reliable data processing at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise scalable web applications and APIs using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python or Java.
• Implement AI capabilities such as Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, autonomous agents and LLM‑based conversational interfaces.
• Build and maintain data persistence and search solutions with MongoDB, Elasticsearch and vector‑search techniques.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, data engineers and product managers to deliver analyst‑focused digital experiences.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or related field with proven software development experience.
• Strong expertise in building responsive user interfaces with React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience creating secure RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Express.js, Fastify, FastAPI or Spring Boot.
• Experience with NoSQL and search technologies like MongoDB, Redis and Elasticsearch.
• Understanding of design patterns, scalable code architecture and distributed system integration.
