Full-Time Chemistry Teacher – One-on-One Sessions (Sec 1 & 2)

About the role

MathVision is seeking enthusiastic individuals to teach Chemistry to Secondary 1 and Secondary 2 students (Grade 7‑8) in a low‑stress, one‑on‑one or two‑on‑one setting. You will use a fully prepared curriculum, including worksheets, notes and question banks, allowing you to focus on delivering clear, step‑by‑step explanations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Chemistry lessons to individual or paired students following the provided curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate lesson records and attendance logs.
• Participate in daily training sessions and collaborative meetings with fellow teachers.
• Uphold MathVision’s teaching standards and supportive learning environment.

Required profile

• Fresh or entry‑level candidates who believe learning can be enjoyable.
• Flexible, open to learning new teaching methods and a strong team player.
• Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident, or LTVP holder with a valid Pre‑Approved Letter of Consent.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of Chemistry concepts relevant to Sec 1 & Sec 2.
• Ability to explain ideas clearly and guide students step‑by‑step.
• Willingness to use prepared teaching materials without creating new content.
