Full-Time Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Accounting

About the role

The School of Accountancy at Singapore Management University seeks full‑time faculty members for tenure‑track or tenured positions in accounting, commencing 1 July 2027. Successful candidates will join a globally‑ranked school, contributing to both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and develop accounting courses for BAcc, MPA, MSA and PhD programmes.
• Conduct high‑quality research and publish in leading academic journals.
• Supervise graduate students and mentor junior faculty.
• Engage with industry partners and contribute to the school’s outreach activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Accounting or a closely related field (or expected before start date).
• Demonstrated potential or record of scholarly research excellence.
• Proven teaching ability at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• For senior ranks, an established record of research and teaching.
