Fundraising Executive

About the role

The Fundraising Executive will support Muhammadiyah Association in securing financial resources through donor engagement, sponsorships and digital campaigns. This role combines relationship building, campaign execution and strategic communication to achieve fundraising targets.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and confidently with donors, partners and internal teams.
• Develop, launch and manage fundraising campaigns and events.
• Approach potential donors, sponsors and corporate partners to secure support.
• Prepare sponsorship and funding proposals and deliver persuasive presentations.
• Support online fundraising initiatives using digital and social media channels.
• Organise donor data, event timelines and follow‑up activities.
• Work towards defined fundraising targets and KPIs.
• Maintain integrity and transparency in handling donor relationships and funds.
• Generate new fundraising ideas and collaborate with other departments.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Non‑Profit Management or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in fundraising, donor management, event planning or non‑profit communications.
• Experience in the social service or non‑profit sector is a plus.
• Resourceful, results‑oriented and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
