Furniture Assembly and Kitchen Installation Specialist (One-Year Contract)

About the role

IKEA Alexandra in Singapore is hiring a Furniture Assembly and Kitchen Installation Specialist for a one-year contract. You will work closely with the Customer Relations team and the Home Furnishing Business to deliver professional furniture assembly and kitchen installation services, with a focus on measurement, assembly and installation.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the store provides the best furniture assembly services so customers have a successful shopping experience.
• Deliver professional, fast and friendly full-range furniture assembly services, including delivering IKEA items to customers' homes.
• Check that all items loaded are accurate, packaging is undamaged and installation drawings are clear.
• Inform customers professionally about installation and measurement procedures, and explain IKEA product and design concepts.
• Handle customer advice and complaints efficiently to maintain service quality.

Required profile

• At least one or two years of assembly and installation experience.
• Ability to use and maintain power tools.
• Experience in a fast-paced, future-oriented environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills.
• Class 3 and Class 4 driving licence.
