FX Client Platforms Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst

About the role

Citi is looking for a senior Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst in its FX Client Platforms team in Singapore. The role leads applications systems analysis and programming activities, establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with multiple management teams to integrate functions, define system enhancements for new products and process improvements, and resolve high-impact problems through in-depth evaluation of business, system and industry standards.
• Apply advanced knowledge of applications programming so that application design follows the architecture blueprint, and set standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation.
• Analyse how business areas such as architecture and infrastructure integrate to achieve business goals, and define issues and innovative solutions.
• Act as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as needed.
• Assess risk in business decisions, uphold compliance with laws, rules and regulations, follow policy and ethics, and escalate, manage and report control issues transparently.

Required profile

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in apps development or systems analysis.
• Strong understanding of FX with hands-on experience in the FX domain.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, and ability to adjust priorities quickly.

Required skills

• Extensive experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Subject matter expert in at least one area of applications development.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
