About the role

The Construction General Manager leads all phases of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high‑quality outcomes. This senior management position oversees planning, execution, and compliance across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from inception to completion, establishing timelines, schedules, and milestones.
• Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, approve expenditures, manage contracts, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Lead project managers, site supervisors, and support staff; recruit, train, and evaluate team members.
• Serve as primary client contact, provide progress reports, and address client concerns.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety protocols; manage permits and documentation.
• Identify growth opportunities, develop operational strategies, and implement risk mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Senior management experience in construction or building projects.
