General Manager – Singapore FMCG Business

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, commercially driven General Manager to lead, stabilise and scale our FMCG business in Singapore. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have full P&L ownership and be accountable for revenue growth, market penetration and profitability across modern trade, general trade and e‑commerce channels.

Key responsibilities

• Own top‑line growth, margin expansion and disciplined cost control while optimising promotional ROI.
• Define commercial strategy including pricing, promotions, portfolio mix and route‑to‑market; set sales targets and drive execution.
• Build and deepen relationships with key retailers and distributors, negotiate joint business plans and trade terms.
• Localise global brand strategy, oversee trade marketing, in‑store visibility and consumer activations.
• Manage in‑market warehousing and logistics, coordinate with regional supply chain to ensure product availability and cost efficiency.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning; ensure robust internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, coach and retain a high‑performing leadership team; implement performance management and succession planning.

Required profile

• 15+ years senior leadership experience in FMCG or related consumer sectors with end‑to‑end P&L responsibility.
• Proven track record in growth and turnaround contexts delivering measurable commercial and margin improvements.
• Strong negotiation experience with major retailers and distributors.
• Solid background in market logistics and trade execution.
• Hands‑on, decisive leader with excellent stakeholder influence.
