Geotechnical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Singapore. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality geotechnical, civil and structural designs for ground improvement, foundations, excavations and earth‑retaining structures.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyse and assess ground improvement works, foundations, slopes, retaining structures and simple structures.
• Plan, supervise and coordinate geotechnical and civil engineering activities on site.
• Ensure all designs comply with statutory standards, regulations and relevant Codes of Practice.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities throughout project delivery.
• Assist the Team Leader in maintaining high quality standards of design and supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
• 1‑3 years of design experience on geotechnical engineering projects.
• Familiarity with Eurocodes and authority submission requirements.
• Knowledge of ground improvement techniques and BIM is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Plaxis 2D and Plaxis 3D.
• Experience with GeoStudio, TEDDS, STAAD Pro, SAFE and SAP 2000.
