Geotechnical Engineer

About the role

The Geotechnical Engineer will support operational and site teams by providing expert advice on engineering designs, ensuring compliance, and contributing to technical documentation for geotechnical matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise operational and site personnel on all engineering designs.
• Propose corrective actions for non‑conformances related to engineering design.
• Assist in investigating complaints linked to engineering design.
• Support the Operations Manager with administrative concerns.
• Prepare technical submissions, including authority approvals, before work commences.
• Produce all required reports for geotechnical issues.
• Monitor and prepare soil investigation bore logs.
• Attend technical meetings and ensure the latest construction drawings are issued to the site.

Required profile

• B.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience (preferred).

Required skills

• Strong engineering competence and knowledge in geotechnical principles.
