Global Account Manager – Life Sciences

About the role

DHL Express Singapore is seeking a Global Account Manager for the Life Sciences sector. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Industry Development, you will lead profitable development of global accounts, position DHL as a strategic partner, and deliver agreed programs through a cross‑functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, establish and manage multi‑tier relationships across customer and DHL organisations to ensure long‑term partnership.
• Drive sales improvement through regionally harmonised processes and clear understanding of customer expectations.
• Lead and manage customer presentations, proposals and regional bidding or RFQ processes.
• Plan and coordinate activities and programs to retain and develop sustainable sales revenue.
• Develop and manage after‑sales strategies for designated account customers.
• Provide customer‑oriented service for sales and expectation issues, and deliver revenue and activity reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of account management or consultative solution‑based sales experience in a service‑related industry.
• Familiarity with the International Express/Air Transportation industry is an advantage.
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, communication, presentation, networking and interpersonal skills.
• Degree in Business or a related discipline.
