Global Banking Project Manager / Program Manager

About the role

Sia Partners, a consulting firm focused on strategy, business transformation, IT and digital strategy and data science, is looking for a Project Manager / Program Manager for a Global Banking project. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing end-to-end projects in Global Markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall project delivery and define the target operating model.
• Set up and oversee the project execution structure: project management, consistency and synchronization, an integrated project plan (with updates), timeline and dependencies.
• Coordinate project status with key stakeholders in a recurring weekly project meeting, with notes and action items shared via Confluence.
• Provide executives with a high-level summary of program status weekly or bi-weekly by email.
• Facilitate project and workstream meetings, including agendas, minutes and timelines.
• Deliver complex projects to a high quality by hard deadlines, influence and manage stakeholders, challenge the status quo, and independently raise risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Banking Project Manager.
• Relevant experience in financial services and strong experience in banking operations and products.
• Experience in project or change management, preferably in Cash Management and Trade Finance.
• Ability to work independently and to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Global Banking products.
• Project and change management experience.
