Global Client Sales Intern

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting a Global Client Sales Intern for its Global Markets Division for Asia, Global Client Sales Department, based in Singapore. The internship runs from 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 and gives hands-on exposure to the bank's Markets franchise, covering risk management, trading and advisory solutions for corporate and institutional clients. Interns rotate across five teams: Risk Solutions Sales (Corporate Clients), Risk Solutions Sales (Private Equity & Sponsors), Trading, eFX Sales and Business Management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market, industry and client research to support business development.
• Analyse client and business data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Develop presentations, reports and strategic business recommendations.
• Support reporting automation, data analytics and process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor macroeconomic and market developments affecting FX and interest rate markets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, trading and business management functions.

Required profile

• Undergraduate student in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in financial markets and global economic developments.
• Open to Singaporean and PR students only; the role is open to students from the university partners listed in the announcement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
