Global Subsidiary Banking Strategy and Execution Intern

About the role

This internship sits within the Global Corporate Banking Division, in the Strategy & Execution team of the Global Head of Subsidiary Banking. The Strategic Planning team works with regional heads, country heads and product offices to design and drive global corporate and investment banking strategy. The intern supports the growth of the Global Subsidiary Banking business, which builds global relationships with large index companies, and works with the department head, team members and senior management.

The internship runs from 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 and is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only, and partners with several local universities.

Key responsibilities

• Support business deep dives and provide actionable insights to senior management and product partners.
• Learn to deliver high-quality analysis and presentation pitchbooks.
• Work with stakeholders across seniority levels and gain hands-on exposure to a global corporate bank.
• Develop qualitative and quantitative skills and work independently and in teams.

Required profile

• Solid critical thinking and analytical ability, able to form and present conclusions and recommendations.
• Growth mindset, self-starter and strong partnership skills.
• Able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-changing global environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint, and/or Publisher).
• Keen eye for detail.
