About the role
The Ground Instructor will deliver comprehensive ground training to pilots and airline crews converting to Airbus aircraft. You will ensure trainees achieve the required knowledge standards and successfully pass system and performance examinations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct ground training sessions for pilots, covering operational and technical aspects of Airbus aircraft.
- Develop, review, and administer examination questions and final exams.
- Use training equipment such as Full Flight Simulators (FBS), Flight Training Devices (FTD), APT+, and mock‑ups to facilitate learning.
- Monitor and evaluate crew progression against the course timeline.
- Maintain required Instructor Competency standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
Required profile
- Professional experience in aviation training or pilot instruction.
- Strong understanding of Airbus aircraft systems and performance.
- Commitment to integrity and awareness of compliance risks.
Required skills
- Full Flight Simulator (FBS) operation
- Flight Training Device (FTD) usage
- APT+ training equipment
- Aircraft mock‑up handling
