Group Accountant – Finance

About the role

The Group Accountant will play an integral part in the Finance Division, handling the preparation of both company and group accounts while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory standards. The role also involves financial analysis and supporting system implementation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Company and Group accounts.
• Maintain the group consolidation template for the company and its subsidiaries.
• Handle and resolve inter‑company differences.
• Produce financial and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Perform financial analysis and maintain key operational statistics.
• Participate in system implementation projects.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Honours Degree in Accountancy or CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
• 2‑5 years of accounting/auditing experience, including consolidation.
• Experience in the aviation industry is preferred.
• Highly adaptable with strong cross‑functional communication.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Potential placement at Assistant Manager or Executive level based on experience.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of SAP (advantage).
• Familiarity with BPC (advantage).
