Head of Business Analytics

About the role

A public listed multinational with a portfolio of businesses in property, hospitality and retail across Asia Pacific has opened a digital division and is looking for a Head of Business Analytics based in Singapore. The role sits between business and data: you turn business decisions into requirements and plan the analyses that support them. You report directly to the Chief Digital Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operationalise analysis and reports, and train teams to use them for decision making
• Establish and train a data analytics/science team and take part in setting up data capture
• Set up a data warehouse and understand business needs to shape data analysis

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or a related discipline
• Experience as an analysis designer
• Ability to turn data into dashboards, reports or analysis for operational use or strategic decisions
• Ability to work in a matrix, cross-functional environment and to lead and motivate team members
• Energetic, independent, able to multi-task in a fast-paced start-up
