Head of Commercial – APAC

About the role

Skywise, the digital services arm of Airbus, is looking for a Head of Commercial for the APAC region. Reporting to the Head of Region APAC, you will lead growth, customer retention and market expansion across South, Southeast and North Asia as well as the Pacific (excluding China). You will manage a high‑performing team of Commercial Directors and Marketing Managers while championing a collaborative, transparent culture.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new sales revenue, contract renewals, up‑selling and cross‑selling to exceed regional targets.
• Lead, coach and develop Commercial Directors, closing competency gaps and maintaining high team motivation.
• Ensure seamless alignment with Customer Success, Deploy and Support functions.
• Oversee strategic account plans for key regional customers and coordinate with Airbus global account teams.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Portfolio & Program teams to optimise contract development and resolve commercial issues.
• Utilise Salesforce CRM to manage the sales pipeline, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Coordinate with finance and legal to resolve invoicing, receivable, pricing and other commercial matters.
• Support Portfolio & Global Program organisations with specifications, prioritisation and customer liaison.
• Represent Skywise at trade shows and user conferences as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Up to 10 years of experience in commercial leadership, preferably within digital services or aviation.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing regional teams.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with finance, legal and product teams.
