Head of Curriculum – Education Technology

About the role

Vertical Institute, a Singapore‑based AI training provider, is seeking a senior leader to shape its curriculum strategy. The Head of Curriculum will drive the design, delivery and continuous improvement of AI‑focused learning programmes for working professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of trainers, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation and professional development.
• Develop training guidelines, teaching frameworks and best practices to ensure instructional excellence.
• Oversee curriculum design, assessment creation and learning material updates, keeping programmes industry‑relevant and aligned with learner needs.
• Introduce innovative training methodologies such as blended, experiential and technology‑enabled delivery.
• Ensure compliance with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) guidelines, accreditation standards and internal quality benchmarks.
• Conduct classroom observations, audits and feedback sessions to maintain high instructional quality.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Marketing teams to support programme launches and learner experience.
• Manage training calendars, trainer deployment and resource allocation for smooth daily operations.
• Analyse performance metrics (satisfaction, progression, assessment outcomes) and implement improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• ACTA/ACLP certification (Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications).
• Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) certification.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in training, facilitation or adult education.
• Proven experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
